Call of the Wild

The Iditarod dog race started yesterday. It is a dog race that starts from Anchorage, Alaska to Nome, an 1,100 mile race. Wow, I would love to be one of those dogs there, out in the wild, fresh air blowing at my face, lots of other dogs to hang out, and run every day. All these cameras clicking, people cheering, how exciting to be out in the race. But I am not so sure I like the snow. Alaska looks cold. It is March already and they still got snow? I am a bit of a chicken when it comes to cold weather.
Also, come to think of it, it looks like hard work pulling that heavy sleigh. Maybe I will stick to baking myself in the sun with 70 degree weather here in California.
